MTC BABY!!

Hello everybody! I hope all of you are doing well :)

This is going to be a documentation of my first week (and a half) of my MTC experience! I will be honest... the first few days were hard for me. I was overwhelmed, stressed out, and missing everything I was familiar with. However, through lots of prayer and studying I have been calmed haha. I really have been loving it. My district is super fun and I couldn't think of a group more perfect for me at the start of my mission. They all have strong testimonies and teach me everyday! We do a bunch of hilarious stuff that I will show you all in the pictures below. My companion is super sick. He is from Gilbert, Arizona. Elder Wilding has an amazing spirit to him and never ceases to make me laugh. He is gonna kill it in Ventura California when he goes! Then Argentina when it opens up! I was lucky enough to have someone I knew from high school to be in my district! Me and him had a few classes so it was nice to have someone I knew to be there with me.

I am starting to adjust more and more to missionary life! Waking up at 6:30 every morning is tough but I have been humbled to find the blessings that come with that. I go outside and study for an hour which I find great joy in! I have felt the spirit and the Lord has blessed me so much just in my first week.

Spanish is tough! I thought taking it in high school would help me... but it really didn't. I learned way more in the first week of my MTC experience than all my spanish in high school. I testify that the gift of tongues is real! Without the help of the Lord I would not understand spanish hahah. Elder Wilding usually has my back when we speak Spanish so I am not too worried.

I should wrap this up so you guys don't see this and just skip down to the pictures. Sorry! It is quite long, but I think I will figure out how to be more concise as I send out more emails. Love you all! Feel free to let me know how you're doing. Be safe!

2 Nephi 22:2 - Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid; for the Lord Jehovah is my strength and my song; he also has become my salvation.
