BUENO BUENO BUENO!     Hey everyone! I'm alive and well! I made it safely to my new area in Elko! Okay, there is so much to tell you about this week and I don't want to just blow you away with how awesome and cool missionary work is... But I'm gonna try. I'm so happy to be here in Elko and it's been such a great time since I've got here!     First, Elko is GREAT! My new companion, Élder Rawlings, has come up with a great phrase we use here in Elko now. "HOMIES! HOMIES EVERYWHERE IN ELKO!" if that doesn't tell you what it's like over here, I don't know what to tell ya. We have been having a lot of fun getting to know the investigators, the area, and the members especially. Here we have members who feed us from the English wards, they also come out to lessons pretty much at any time, and DO YOUR LAUNDRY?! Hold up, I'm going back to when my wonderful and amazing mother did my laundry for me. It's so cool being out here!!! The phrase we...

HOLA HOLA!!!     Hey everyone! I hope yall están bien because man I've had a great week again! I bet yall are just dying to know the transfer news huh? I feel like I said that every time... Because it's true!! This time, they did things differently... They also sent my parents my transfer news so they already know! Anyways, I will be going to Elko to be the Zone Leader over there with my old Zone Leader Élder Rawlings! I am so excited to go over there and be companions with him. When we went on exchanges man I loved hitting the grind with him! I'll still be speaking Spanish but now I'm making a trek to the other side of the mission! It's a solid 4 hours from Carson city and only a 3 hour drive to home! I'm one of the Zone Leaders for the biggest zone in the mission, so I'm very excited. On Wednesday we take a van and we all drive over to Elko so it's going to be so much fun     This week was one full of reflection. I had a very certain feeling that I was...

Hola mis causas!! Que lo que?     Wow this week was definitely one made of miracles! Man I love being a missionary. This week is getting hot hot hot! We're expecting to be in high 90s low 100s... Wearing a white button up and a nice pair of slacks is not very desirable during the summer. However, this work sure is!! It's all worth it I promise hahaha     Yeah like I said, fantastic week! It's the last week of the transfer so by next email you'll know if I'm staying even longer in Carson City or if I'm leaving! We had a super busy week and it was pretty filled with a lot of walking and some good lessons. Recently Élder Perkins and I have been working out together on a more consistent basis and man I have loved it. Gets me energized, feeling happy, more effective, and of course... Absolutely ripped! Next thing you know you're going to see a 6'3 (Man, I wish) absolutely ripped dude and be like, "Wow! Élder LaTour you've changed so much!" then ...

(insert Spanish greeting phrase here)     I hope everyone had a great week this week! Man, it's already July?! Time is flying by so fast out here on the mission. Ladies and gentlemen, I'm here to inform you that I indeed did have another great week! Man Élder LaDeaux and I have been really working hard and having some awesome miracles happen. We also have been getting super close and it's been a good time. He only lives in South Jordan which Is like 15 minutes give or take away. If you guys see me hanging out with a short Native American guy when I get home, you'll know why.     Like I said, this week was amazing! I want to share bits and pieces with you guys so hopefully maybe who knows your heart will be warm and feel the Spirit. The first thing I want to share is pretty cool, kind of confusing, and might make you hungry. This week as Élder LaDeaux and I were walking in Las Calles de México we saw this couple just about to head into the door. This day was filled wi...
