Week 32

Que lo que mis amados amigos.     What's up everyone! This week is one for the books here in Carson City, Nevada! Yeah, that's right. I'm not in Africa, Argentina, Bolivia, Colombia, or México. I am loving it here in Nevada! I heard a lot of negativity recently about serving in Nevada. It's an amazing place and la gente aquí is fantastic. Just wanted to openly admit my love for Nevada!!     This week was a tiring week. I will not lie. We had a lot of meetings and broadcasts we had to watch. A member of the 70 came to our Mission and gave us some great advice. It was a really cool opportunity for me to look at missionary work just a bit differently. Just a lot of eye opening things which were really cool! Then, I had the special opportunity ir al templo!! Reno temple is so sick, but unfortunately that was the last time I can go while I'm here in Carson City. Really sad because I've loved being inside the temple. It's a peace that can't be found anywhere...

Week 31

BUENO BUENO BUENO!!!     GUYS. FIRE WEEK!!! A lot of blessings were manifested to me this week and I'm so grateful! I love seeing the hand of God in my life everyday as a missionary. We had a lot of ups and a few downs but all is truly well!     We have been having so much fun with our good friend Abel recently! We call every morning and every night and pray with him. It is so cool to see his consistent progression! He has been wanting us over too almost every night so... Our schedule gets really busy!! He buys us pan dulce and we just Munch and chat about the Gospel. It's been a good time with him and I can't wait to see him being baptized here soon!! Hopefully??     This week was like the actual transfers! Luckily, we didn't have to do anything because we're both staying! However, all of the Spanish Elders except us got transferred so we could be with each other for 3... Who knows! It's pretty much impossible to predict transfers but still kind of fun to ...

Week 30

Que lo que!! You guys already know... This week was a fantastic last week of the transfer. It was really weird to think that I'm heading into my 5th transfer of my mission! I'm getting "older" it's so weird. I used to be called the baby of each zone I was in but now I'm one of the oldest ones! Also... good news!! I'm staying here in Carson City with my companion! You know what that means?! More calisthenics and more missionary work! I'm really excited to stay with him for one more I actually quite like having him around. We've got a few jokes and all so it's been really fun. Our zone didn't get switched up too much which was nice! However, the Reno Mission used to have 8 zones and now it's going down to 5. My old zone got combined with the Reno zone and the California zone is getting put with the Reno North zone. It's crazy changes!! We also have a mission tour coming up so someone from the area presidency is coming to the Mission a...

Week 29

Bueno bueno bueno!! Como están?!     This week was a week of REWARDS! I was able to see a lot of miracles this week! Big and small, they all really added to my work ethic! I'll be honest, some ups and downs were had but the ratio was positive! I've really been enjoying my time here in Carson City. Transfer news is just a week away. Yeah. You heard me. A week away. I felt like I just got here!! This has been going by so fast I can't believe it. Anyways, I'm going to describe my week now so you all don't skip down to the pictures!     Unfortunately, this last week we lost contact with our good friend Abel. He had some difficult things happen and he wasn't able to talk to us. HOWEVER! HE IS BACK BABY!!! He called us from a different Facebook profile (I don't suggest answering random Facebook calls at all by the way) and he told us what was going on. We were able to meet up with him yesterday and it was so awesome to see him again. His heart is just so open to r...
