Week 31

BUENO BUENO BUENO!!!

 

 

GUYS. FIRE WEEK!!! A lot of blessings were manifested to me this week and I'm so grateful! I love seeing the hand of God in my life everyday as a missionary. We had a lot of ups and a few downs but all is truly well!

 

 

We have been having so much fun with our good friend Abel recently! We call every morning and every night and pray with him. It is so cool to see his consistent progression! He has been wanting us over too almost every night so... Our schedule gets really busy!! He buys us pan dulce and we just Munch and chat about the Gospel. It's been a good time with him and I can't wait to see him being baptized here soon!! Hopefully??

 

 

This week was like the actual transfers! Luckily, we didn't have to do anything because we're both staying! However, all of the Spanish Elders except us got transferred so we could be with each other for 3... Who knows! It's pretty much impossible to predict transfers but still kind of fun to guess. Our zone did change a little bit but other than that it's pretty much the same. This week Élder Christen went home! He was my last companion so it's kinda crazy he went home already. He was definitely ready and he definitely deserved it too. He was so kind and sent me a nice message on the plane ride home. I'll miss that guy! He only lives in Pleasant Grove so I'm sure he will want to meet up sometime.

 

 

This week I figured out my companion stresses out VERY easily! He sometimes can overthink a situation or something and it can ruin his desire to work. He can get really "schlumped" or really burned out from it. He had a big scare this week and we actually ended up calling our mission president because he was so worried. It all turned out just fine so all is well! However, I will be honest I was kind of annoyed because when I was trying to reassure him... He didn't listen.. that is not important though!! All that matters is he's okay now.

 

 

This upcoming week we have the opportunity to go to the Temple! Unfortunately, my zone can't go anymore because it's too far so this is our last time. I have always loved the Temple and it brings great peace into my day, week, or month! It's such an awesome opportunity to go and it sounded too good to be true... and it was. Still awesome how I get to go though!

 

 

Also we are now responders for the Spanish Facebook pages in the mission! So 5 days out of the week we sit at a computer for two hours! I thought I came out on a mission to stop doing that... But nope!! It's actually awesome because we're helping people and sharing good messages so it's awesome. However, we respond on p-days and since we take two hours out, we get two hours back so we end P-day at 8:00! It's kind of silly but worth it maybe?

 

 

The mission is awesome. My testimony of My Savior has increased so much. I'm still getting to know Him more and more each day. As of right now, I'm focusing my studies in the Book of Mormon! It's been a blessing to familiarize myself with it just a bit more. Beyond grateful for this book and all it has taught me! I hope all of you have a fantastic week! Feel free to reach out to me!
