Week 6

Buenos dias!!

Hahaha how is it going everyone? I hope all is well! I am now officially in Reno baby! Yesterday i flew in around noon, then we met the mission president, then had a like orientation for all the new missionaries! Then the new missionaries paired up with someone who has been out in the mission for a year or so. I went out with an elder named Elder Houston! He is from Riverton, Utah so we had a lot to talk about. He is really nice and has good relations with a bunch of members in the area. We had dinner with this old couple and they were so awesome. Then afterwards we visited this family and it was pretty fun. In this family, the mom is baptized but the rest of the family isn't... so their missionaries want to baptize the rest of them. We stayed in a hotel and now we're going to meet our companions. Looks like you will find out who my comp is next week!

The adjustment has been weird. I am missing my family and it's only day two so the power of prayer and faith gotta be clutch. But the thing I've learned so far is to just be confident. There is nothing like these two years that I can ever get again. I can't wait to learn more, but these first weeks are the rough ones. I love this gospel and I can't wait to start this journey! I love my Savior and my Heavenly Father. I hope you all are well. Feel free to reach out to me. Be safe!

2 Nephi 31:20 - Wherefore, ye must press forward with a steadfastness in Christ, having a perfect brightness of hope, and a love of God and of all men. Wherefore, if ye shall press forward, feasting upon the word of Christ, and endure to the end, behold, thus saith the Father: Ye shall have eternal life.
