Week 16

¡Buenos días todos!

 

 

Cómo están ustedes?! Estoy muy bien en mi misión! There you go, daily dose of Spanish for ya!

 

 

Anyways, you know me. Another solid week in Reno baby! Just grinding and getting the work of the Lord DONE! This week low-key went by pretty fast. 

 

 

It's December! The season is all about Christ! Oh my gosh I'm so excited to solely be focused on my Savior. As we walk around, I always offer people a message of Jesus Christ and a message of hope! Of course, people deny you because you're an 18 year old white boy speaking an oddly good amount of Spanish to them... But nonetheless my determination to delacre to the world that Christ lives does not diminish!

 

 

Couple highlights of the week!!

 

 

- Our friends Yumalai and Yaritzi are going to be baptized! I'm sooo excited! My first baptism and they want me to baptize them both! (if I stay here next transfer) I am so excited for them! I've been blessed to see them progress and grow their desire to be closer to Christ. January 15th is their baptismal date!!!

 

 

- I was complimented on my Spanish several times by natives... So therefore I'm becoming one of them. JUST KIDDING! I'm still learning and far from native.

 

 

- My personal studies have been on fire in case y'all were wondering. I love studying for one hour (sometimes I sneak an extra 30 mins in) and learning more! If you don't read the script, START NOW!

 

 

- Christmas is looking promising! We have Been able to start doing some more member work which has been non-existent... But we're gonna get it started!! Let's goooo

 

 

- I was able to give this lady named Sabrina a blessing and some cool things happened! It attests to the miracles that I've seen! There's a whole thing that happened before this blessing and it's just an absolutely crazy story... But I was able to bless someone!! Yay!

 

 

- My comp is almost done with his mission, so naturally his desire to follow the rules decrease right? Nope! He is an obedient missionary unless it comes to Facebook or sleeping in. This guy sleeps in till 8 and then watches live streams on Facebook of someone playing minecraft for an hour or two. This guy is cracking me up!

 

 

God is good, guys! I can't believe it's week 16! I feel like it's Been a lot longer... but that's good because I can enjoy this time! so grateful for my opportunity to be here! I hope all of you are doing well! Feel free to reach out to me! be safe!
