Week 24

Buenos días!!!

 

 

YOOO this week was really good everybody! Not kidding... It was awesome! However... We've got some transfer news!!! Drum roll please...

I will be going... 

To Carson City!! Yay! I'm going to the Spanish branch there! I'm so excited yall I don't think you understand. I am really excited for a change! My new companion's name is Elder Loria and he is supposed to be a DAWG! Also he is pretty tall so when you guys see pictures of us... I don't want to hear any short jokes. Not for real though I'm excited because I will get to keep speaking Spanish!

 

 

I'm going to miss a lot of stuff here. There are a lot of baptisms, promising investigators, fun people, and fun PDAY activities but I know there is where I need to go. I'm not sure what it will be like but I'm excited. I'll get there on Wednesday and Carson City is only 30 minutes away so not too far. For the next few days we get a reassigned missionary staying with us which I'm excited for! He came in with me and his name is Elder Wooton. He is known around the mission for being the goofiest Elder around and I'm so excited to experience more! Fantastic week is coming up!

 

 

Anyways, this week was pretty awesome. A lot of hard work and finding so I was really glad I was able to do that. I come home almost every night about to clock out for bed so that's an amazing sign. We talked with our friend Alan a lot and he is doing great. Still on date for baptism on the 26! We did see some miracles this week with little interactions so I'm so happy. I really enjoy talking to new people and just kind of putting myself out there hahaha. It's weird but I'm just way more comfortable talking to people! The mission is great guys. 

 

 

Had exchanges with the one and only Élder Boyce! He is from Montana and is so awesome. His desire to work is so strong and we just clicked so fast. I'm really happy I got to go out with him! He speaks English so unfortunately not a whole lot of Spanish but still a great time. Exchanges are such a fun part of the mission I really love it!

 

 

This stuff is flying by. I just am so grateful for the time I've been able to set aside to serve my Heavenly Father. I've recently been reading the Book of Mormon and I just can't believe how lucky I am to have such an amazing book right in front of me. Then I walk into our room and see about 76 copies in a box! It's so awesome the access we have to these things and I just wanted to openly express my love for the Amazing scriptures we have. The Bible and The Book of Mormon are compatible and help each other bring us back home to our Father in Heaven. What an amazing week. I can't wait to tell you guys all about my new area next week.
