Week 27

Hola a todos!!

Como están?! This week was yet another... Wait make a guess... A fire week!!! It's just getting better and better here in Carson City baby! It's getting cooler and cooler the longer I stay here. When we drive around I always say, "Wow Carson City is muy chevere" and my companion always gives me a funny look! If that has any indication of how awesome it is here... You'll know.

We worked pretty hard this week once again! Just about everyday we are hitting the grind! It's been really good for me just to get going everyday and have almost no time. It's a mix of awesome and awful because my humane gross teenage lazy self wants to nap instead of Language Study but no! I gotta stay diligent and work hard because that's where the true joy is. A big thing I've learned is that hard work is far more rewarding than relaxation or "breaks."

Had a Zone Conference this week! Was really awesome but they're really cracking down on some rules here. I don't mind though... Mainly because I've already been following them! However, I've always got room to improve. My wonderful Mission President's wife did pull me aside and said...

Drum roll please... CUT YOUR HAIR!! I did, don't worry mom! It was funny because she told me that I looked raggy, it's not fun if you don't mess up! JUST KIDDING DON'T LISTEN TO THAT

This week we had our friend Abel just become an absolute legend! He is progressing an insane amount. He has been asking us so many questions about what happens when you become a member, how baptisms work and all that. He is truly elect! We're meeting with him on Tuesday and we're going to discuss a date so I'm really excited!! It's so amazing to see his drive and his passion to change. It's such a changing experience to be on this side of the Baptismal process. I am truly grateful!

Had some amazing experiences this week and it was full of fun. Every day out here becomes more and more enjoyable. Couple fun things that I've developed since being on the mission...

- Meditation (I'm not a freak I promise)

- Reading comprehension (let's not talk about my ACT score for this category)

- Love for others

- Gratitude for my family and friends

- A greater Testimony of the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ

- Some Abs

I gotta admit... A mission is pretty cool. I will admit also that it's tough, it also feels long, but I WANT it too. Hope all of you are doing well! Hopefully y'all think I'm funny still. Feel free to reach out! Be safe!
