Week 35

Heyo! Bueno bueno!

How are we doing, everybody?! Wow happy Easter! I hope all of you enjoyed the time we had to ponder and meditate on our Living and Risen Savior!! I sure was and it was awesome. This week was one definitely for the books! It had its moments, like every week does, but I always can say things turn out well!

This week unfortunately our good friend Abel began to ghost us. He literally just fell off the face of the earth again. So scary, but then he called us just two days ago and began to explain how he no longer wants to be baptized and doesn't want to come to church anymore. He's catholic and he has these prayer candles he really believes in. He also says that he doesn't like how we don't really worship the Virgin Mary. He said he still loves the Book of Mormon and it has changed him, but for now he will be taking a different course. It really tore me up. I'm not going to lie. Seeing the joy and love he felt and then he just turned away. I know Heavenly Father has a plan for him and what he needs to do. It was a tough situation but things like this happen. Got to keep working and show love by all means necessary right?

We had an amazing Easter service! It was so good in fact, that very few people came because it would've been too spiritual for them! Just kidding, but seriously we maybe had like 10 people there... and some of them were from the English ward. It was kind of nice because we all got to be together and talk and have a fantastic discussion about Passover from the Old Testament and Jesus Christ's Crucifixion. A lot of my vocabulary in Spanish is based around the church so it was convenient that I learned a lot of these words! This Easter was a great time of reflection for me and I am so glad I was able to be here in Cason for it!

Next week is transfers, make some predictions! I think I know roughly what is going to happen but in reality you never know. I won't make any guesses so you will have to wait and see next week! Oooo cliff hanger

It was an amazing week. We taught people, walked a lot, laughed a Lot, had some rough moments like always, overcame them with work, and loved it all. I am so glad that you guys read these every week! I hope it brings a little bit of joy into your day! Feel free to reach out to me! Be safe in all that you do!

Alma 26:37 - Now my brethren, we see that God is mindful of every people, whatsoever land they may be in; yea, he numbereth his people, and his bowels of mercy are over all the earth. Now this is my joy, and my great thanksgiving; yea, and I will give thanks unto my God forever. Amen.
