Week 37

Bueno bueno bueno!!

 

 

I hope all of you are doing super bien!! This week was a really good one. Made up for the tough week I had last week! Start of a new transfer so a fresh start!! We got some new quad mates this week and they are SOOOOO fun! We all workout in the morning and BOP to some hype youth music and all. Then we all just work our butts off, come back, and vibe all night. (until 10:30 respectively) Heavenly Father has blessed Élder Loria and I with some awesome people to live with for these next six weeks. We have fun, we work, and of course we keep the Spirit. All in good fun, but I just had to tell y'all about that because it's so awesome and a huge blessing! 

 

 

This week was filled with a lot of hard work. I was really motivated to be a better missionary and more diligent and we were rewarded! We've had success in teaching others, inviting the Spirit, and the gift of tongues. It's all so good, I am really grateful for the power that God has to guide me in my missionary efforts. 

 

 

This week we had an experience that was really cool and forced me to take a step back. We were going about our daily mission shenanigans yanno teaching about Christ and all. We had a lesson planned with this absolute homie who is from Nicaragua and he had two friends who were pretty interested in the Gospel. As we were about to drive over there, Élder Loria looked at me and told me, "we shouldn't go to his house" I looked at him and was like. Bro. Lesson. We need to teach. He said again to me that "we should not go" . I looked at him again and immediately felt the Spirit and agreed. I don't know why we didn't go or what would've happened if we did but I know that the spirit was really strong! I'm alive and well so I'm glad I didn't go!

 

 

Throughout the week I was reflecting a lot on the Christ-like attitude found in Preach my Gospel Virtue. If I am honest I wasn't really too familiar with what it was so I decided to study it a bit. It's a really good "tema" that I've been focusing on this week because it focuses on moral goodness. It is being honest when no one is looking, keeping your mind morally clean, and abounding in good works through your own desires. It's something that hit me hard because I want to be more virtuous because the promised blessings that come with it are really incredible and I want to receive them!!! A little spiritual thought so I hope les gustó!! I hope you're all well and staying safe!!! 

 

 

Alma 38:9 - And now, my son, I have told you this that ye may learn wisdom, that ye may learn of me that there is no other way or means whereby man can be saved, only in and through Christ. Behold, he is the life and the light of the world. Behold, he is the word of truth and righteousness.
