Week 66

Muy buenos días a todos

Man Thanksgiving week! What a great time to be a bit more thankful than we usually are right?! As a missionary it's really cool because we're able to get into a bunch of homes and share messages all about being thankful to our Heavenly Father! And a plus, everyone's got those Thanksgiving leftovers and they're not shy to give us any

This week actually turned out pretty good! At the beginning, I still had to quarantine because of covid, but I was lucky to feel better and be able to leave on Wednesday! I remember just praying so much to feel better by Wednesday so we could leave. It was crazy because I totally thought I wasn't going to feel good by Wednesday. On Tuesday I still had felt the same since the first day I got it, then I woke up Wednesday and boom, totally fine. I was in complete shock and so excited! God truly does bless His children!

Well, I have some rather surprising and unfortunate news. I'm being transferred from Elko! Not unfortunate, just sadly haha. I will be going to the northern part of Reno! Still speaking Spanish which is super cool and I'll be a part of a new Reno/Sparks Spanish zone which will be super cool! All I got to say is, you would Élder Hardman. I'm really excited to go but I've grown to love this tiny town of Elko. It's been a place of growth and learning for me and I'm of course sad to leave my companion. Training is rough and I struggled, but man I felt like we just got to a good spot together. The Lord has something in mind for me! Anyways, I'm excited so I will let you all know by next week what it's like!

This past week I had some very consistent and great personal studies. Sometimes it depends on the morning that I cultivate and how things turn out with Exchanges or other events. However, this week I just totally got into it everytime. I'm grateful for the time we have to study personally everyday as missionaries. It's refreshing and really does fill up the tank everyday. I just love personal study and man I just am scared to find out how hard it'll be when I'm home.

Like I said, we had a good week. We had some rather cool lessons where we were able to bear testimony boldly and invite people to develop their faith in Christ. I love to bear my testimony because everytime it just invites the strongest Spirit. I went on exchanges with my good friend Élder Oakes and we taught one of their most progressing friends and man it was powerful. She had some questions that I didn't know how to answer but we both testified and we knew she felt it. Ahhh so cool.

I hope you all enjoy your Thanksgiving week! Eat lots of turkey, enjoy the time with your family, and be thankful! I'm excited for this week, hopefully my new companion has set up some things for the day of Thanksgiving, love you all! Feel free to reach out to me and pretty please stay safe!

Alma 9:26 - And not many days hence the Son of God shall come in his glory; and his glory shall be the glory of the Only Begotten of the Father, full of grace, equity, and truth, full of patience, mercy, and long-suffering, quick to hear the cries of his people and to answer their prayers.
