Week 99

Hey everyone!

What an eventful week I had, haha. I cannot believe the pace is moving this fast! I am so exhausted, but I guess there is no better way to go than this! We saw a good amount of success come from this past week, and I am excited to share with you guys some experiences.

This Saturday, our friend Crystal will be baptized! I am so excited to have seen her progress towards the waters of baptism these past few months. She is super awesome, and her grandmother is also getting baptized on the same day, just in a different ward. We are so excited for their family and all the blessings that are ready for them!

We were able to go to Elko this week, and man, that took a lot out of us. We drove up on Sunday night, and when we got there, we were so excited. Zone conference and then an exchange later, I find myself driving back to Reno, half awake. The next day, some of the Senior Missionaries saw me and said I have a case of the "Elko Hangover," haha. They always seem to keep it fun. I was happy to have been in Elko, and I even got to see the progress of the temple they are building there! When I served there, the ground wasn't even prepared enough to build anything on top. Now they have the outline of the temple in place and are starting to put in the granite! So exciting to see.

Our friend Judy, who we have been working with, texted us and said that she had been in the hospital. We were in Elko, so we told her to find someone in our ward, but later she called us and asked for a blessing. We went over, and we got to see her. She sat down, and right before we gave her the blessing, she was shaking really bad. The second I laid my hands on her head, it went away. If that is not evidence of God, then I do not know what is. The power of the Priesthood is insane! I love exercising this righteous authority!

God is good! We went to the temple this morning at 4:45 am. Gas.

I am still here on "The Last Ride," but I will admit it has been tough. I have never been so tired before, but I can say for sure that I want to come home on a stretcher, haha. I know that I want to continue to work hard until the time is up! I will be returning home on August 5th, and for those of you who would like to stop by my house, feel free! We will be holding an open house from 6-8 pm that night at 422 E Woodridge Oak Dr, Draper, UT. Feel free to come by and say hi! Hope you all are well. Only a few more of these from me, so I promise I will try to make them count!

Luke 15:18-23

18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and before thee,

19 And am no more worthy to be called thy son. Make me as one of thy hired servants.

20 And he arose and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him.

21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and in thy sight, and am no more worthy to be called thy son.

22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and shoes on his feet.

23 And bring hither the fatted calf, and kill it, and let us eat and be merry.
